MINUTES <br />CITY OF BELLFLOWER <br />THE BELLFLOWER CITY COUNCIL <br />MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2019, 5:30 P.M. <br />BELLFLOWER CITY HALL - COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />16600 CIVIC CENTER DRIVE BELLFLOWER, CALIFORNIA 90706 <br />1 Call to Order <br />Mayor Santa Ines called the Regular City Council Meeting to order at 5:31 p.m. in <br />the Council Chambers at Bellflower City Hall, 16600 Civic Center Drive, Bellflower. <br />2 Roll Call <br />The following members of the City Council responded present to roll call: <br />Mayor Sonny R. Santa Ines. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Juan Garza <br />Council Member Ray Dunton <br />Council Member Raymond Y. Hamada <br />Council Member Dan Koops <br />3 Recess to Closed Session <br />For the record, Mayor Pro Tem Garza announced that he would recuse himself <br />from Item 3-A as he has a conflict due to an employer -client relationship. <br />There being no one in the audience wishing to provide public testimony, without <br />objection, Mayor Santa Ines recessed the Meeting at 5:32 p.m. to a <br />Closed Session regarding: <br />A CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL = ANTICIPATED LITIGATION <br />(Pursuant to Government Code § 54956.9(d)(2)). <br />Facts and Circumstances: Item 13 -Aon the City Council Agenda regarding appeal <br />(by CaliMed Group, Inc. <br />B PUBLIC EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE EVALUATION <br />(Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957) <br />Title: City Manager <br />Page 1 of 11 <br />
